We were at Tockwith Driving Centre today 2nd Sept, We managed 110MPH at best but kept running out of runway, but it was still great practice, the first few runs were testing but James soon settled into it and broke 100mph time and time again.

The passenger rides went well with some big smiles as we hurtled to 60mph then onto 100mph so we can only assume people were enjoying themselves.

The car used was a Mitsubishi Evolution VII FQ-300 details below

4 Cylinder 2.0 Litre Turbocharged Engine
308 Bhp
300 Lbft of Torque
0-60 in 4.5 Seconds
0-100 in 11.1 Seconds
0-60-0 in just 6.5

It is a very quick car but not as quick as the Ferrari that will be used on the day.

Thanks to everyone that attended, sorry to the reporters that had to wait a while when we were doing the filming for Calendar, thanks to Jon from Calendar News, Karen from the Evening Press and Tom from the Wetherby News for covering the practice.

Some video and pics will follow in a few days
